This just in: Changelog's are for pussies. Why not search for your vehicle until you find it? Why do you need to know it's there? Do you enjoy surprises? Be a dick.

One would simply have to be careful what he/she says on the radio. I love the idea, and the others concerning radios. I do use an external program to chat with my buddies but I would prefer an in-game system for verisimilitude.

I was just reading George MacDonald Fraser's autobiography about his time in a Scottish Regiment, where there is a long tradition of kicking off one's shoes and closing in faster to engage the enemy with Claymores. Could be their shoes were just rubbish to begin with, though.

Yeah! The tournament would need to start at, say, 0400 in game, so people can be a little more sneaky in the early hours. Maybe cash prizes? How much would you pay to enter into a tournament? I'm sure everyone would watch videos of it afterwards....

Yeah, that had occurred to me. I guess one would have to make new friends in game, eh?

I've always wanted to participate in some kind of DayZ tournament. Regarding Hardcore servers, they could just join a regular, non-laddered/tournament one. I guess they weren't quite hardcore enough for tier 1:( I'd love to watch a recording of a DayZ tournament cycle, especially if all the different perspectives could be experienced (post-game, not during, for obvious reasons)

Everyone with a copy of the game can join a tier 1 server, when killed they can only join a tier 2 server then 3,4, etc. The tier 1 servers are up until the last man/clan is standing. Hardcore mode only, with natural moon cycles. Perhaps the spawning system could be adjusted as well to make NOD's etc even more rare. For the next round of matches, only those left standing at the end of the old tier 1 servers will have access to the new tier 1 servers. Naturally, hackers will be discouraged from joining in and publicly shamed, mocked, and then finally executed in real life to keep them from doing it again. Motivation? Bragging rights, I suppose. Also I think I'm much better than you. I like this idea.

When you sit down to write one of your DayZ stories, are you engaged in fiction or nonfiction? My favorites read as nonfiction, journal type stories. If they are nonfiction, how creative is the process? (P.S. I love reading DayZ stories)

I'm at my real girlfriend who actually exists' house often, whom I badgered into getting DayZ as well, and when I try to play on her computer DayZ opens her profile whether I'm using my own steam account or not. This isn't a huge problem, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if there is a solution. This is the case whether I use Six Launcher, Commander, or even run it directly through Steam (which I think is rather wonky). Thanks for your consideration.
