Dayz commander NEED HELP URGENTLY!

Up to two days ago I was playing DayZ perfectly fine then I saw a new update on the Arma2 website for non steam users so I downloaded it and went to play DayZ again and it said "There was an error launching Arma2 With DayZ please check your directories in the settings panel AND be sure that you have the mod installed in the update/install panel Details: The system cannot find the file specified" and on the DayZ commander when I go into install/update it says that I need to verify Arma2 and OA (don't know if this has anything to do with it) but when I tried to verify the games I had it verifying for two hours and it was still at 0% (I asked everyone I know who plays Dayz and arma2 and they didn't know what was happening!)
Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?!? :o :o

I have tried uninstalling everything to do with Arma2 and Dayz and then reinstalling and still nothing has worked.

First you have posted in the wrong Forum (twice).

Take the time to browse and use the Search Function.

 

I will move this to the correct Forum section but do as I say, there is a lot of information available and some Guides.
