What's the problem ? (PC specs)

Hi guys :) I've old pc . But I upg. 2 week ago . ( Just PSU and GPU)

 

My system:

 

Q6600 2.4 Ghz

2 GB Ram

R7 260X GPU

 

And I've play "VeryLow/Disable-1024x768" Airfield and Forest +35 FPS . Berezino etc. 25 FPS .

 

Which part should I upgrade in my PC?

Processor and Ram. I play with i5 and 8gb ram and a gtx 650. It's okay, the game's simply not optimized yet. Even guys with High-end PCs stutter on about 30fps from what I've heard.

If you meant "overclock to 3.0 Ghz" --> nop, that's not gonna do it, you should buy at least an i5 or and i7.

4GB would probably be enough --> but I'd rather go for 8GB (if your system supports it).

 

SSD helps as well.

You didnt heard good, its not true, maybe when they stream, or record with something that eats your pc, other then that, high end pcs as you say. 50+ fps berezino and big towns, 70+ wildernes, and that is max settings!

Thx for post . I've ASUS P5K-SE mob . Thats board support Max 8Gb ram but not support i3 , i5 , i7.

This is getting all techy, I should move it really !

 

Although the CPU & the MB were good in their time you will have trouble running DayZ  better than you are, no matter which upgrade you choose.

True, after a last patch, i lost 10fps all around, also expiriencing some wierd stuttering while i run, as soon as i stop frames get back to normal...

Like the OP, i also have problems with FPS and frankly i don't think i should. I play on lowest graphics possible in settings and 1920x1080x32 at 100% render resolution. I've also tried the gpumaxframes and other settings tweaks to no avail. I average 30-50 sometimes hitting 80 in the woods in terms of FPS. However my PC tears the crap out of arma 2 and i get around 70 fps on arma 3 on high graphics.

Notes: The audio is 7.1 built into my mobo, the gpu is ASUS's r9 290x, DayZ is on the SSD and I don't have performance issues on any other games, especially the arma series.
