There is use of this now, i have left a lot of notes around the map/servers hopefully that someone is going to find them and read them. Anyone else using them?

I try to always keep an amusing note on me. Until the server persistence hits stable I won't be leaving them around though...

I have left a few in the past, I used to leave them in popular loot buildings for maximum effect.. never on my body. But then I noticed myself not bothering to even look at paper when I see it, on the ground or anywhere else, so I wonder how many other peoples notes I could have missed? I shall check them from now on in the hopes I come across something.

 

I would have loved to see a post on here saying one of my old ones was read. I read about other people having notes and some great stories around them, I'm just unlucky I guess.

I sometimes keep a pen on me to write on notes on the floor.

Not the most mature stuff, but along the lines of [someone appears to have used this note for toilet paper. You better go wash your hands].

Never saw one with text on it though, checked quite a few.

I only Call of Cthulhu once and had no room for it. Still pains me!

Byt atheists in trenches, I believe they ment that most of people, when in imminent danger of dying, often prays to some higher powers, even when in times of peace they do not go to church nor they are religious in nature. I'm not saying this makes them members of some specific Church or cult.

I am always make the notes before and now is persistant stay after server restart I doing treble the note, EVRY PAPER I FINDING I WRIOTE MESSAGE for example yesterday I was write story of the pig miracle and try to spread word about save the pig because pig is unicorn of dayz but I am sure when person reading this they don't pay attention and do pig kill BUT I AM TRY because for me is fun to make guys stop to think about pig life having value.

 

another one I was write I tell the story of where I am hide one backpack with special gift inside was 2 x tactic bacon (to stop pig murders) and also saw off shotgun and ammo and I put a map and also some water and I put the note to say 'CONGRATULATE FOR YOU YOU FINDING THE PRIZE' but I don't know if anybody was find the backpack because I was forget what server I was hide it HAHAHA I am always forget the server but I hope guys find and have some fun with

Yeah I occasionally leave a note, the latest one I left told the story of me handcuffing my friend, then finding a key, and everything was ok :)

I used to carry a book with me also, I did it for several lives. It was, as to be, roleplaying this guy who cannot accept the fact he is in a apocalypse, and goes forward to survive searching the old life that doesn't exist anymore and the book keeps him going as a reminder of that life that once was...I died fairly quickly all of the times I had a book with me and immediatelly after not carrying the book, my progression was normal.

Now I call it the curse of the book. Might try it again some day.

I started leaving notes today with morph. ammo, food, and another supplies for players at hight traffic places, in hope that they going to be more friendly with next guy they meet :)

I keep a diary in my backpack so people get to "know" the person they just killed and how i lived. How I moved from city to city, things i saw on my way and last thoughts before i ran into NWAF. Describing encounters with people and so on. I scribble down some short sentences every hour or so. I think people get more of a feel that way instead of just some other guy that just got KOS'ed. This time they can read my story.

The last note I found was one that called me a piece of shit for killing on EXP and so on. I found it rather amusing, as the guy had stripped down and put his hands up. I then told him I don't want anything from him, he can keep his stuff and go on about his day. He put all his shit back on and then put his hands up again, now walking towards me. I shot him in the head. I prob should of done it as soon as I saw him though, as he was one of those D-bags blasting music into his mic.

 

Found a few notes along the lines of; bam you're dead or you're stupid for stopping to read this... They must have got tired of waiting though, as there was no ambush to speak of.

 

Another memorable one I had found on a victim was one that was this big long speech about how he was friendly and all he wanted to do was help. Again, amusing, as the player had just tried to shoot me in the back and missed. I spun around and didn't.

Thats nice of you. Im always afraid if i read a note it will say "you are dead in 3, 2, 1.." and a sniper gets me.
