Almost all servers now gone from DZC.. have they all moved to steam?

Recommended Posts

Well, I haven't started up DZC in a few days, but I just did... and only 300 servers are left? Did they all finally move over to steam in those few days? or are they just all down from BE stopping support?

I also noticed the Public Hive servers on there are down.

I'm not too sure what's been going on with that. I've noticed quite the same.

Everyone should be using steam. DayZ no longer supports any other platform.

I can't seem to find any public hive servers as of last night and today. I heard that the reason they went down was due to HFB servers going under. Sucks, cause I was getting into v1.8.1 vanilla and had a good operation going.

Anybody know if there are any public hive servers up?

"IMPORTANT: BattlEye will stop providing protection for servers using outdated non-Steam versions of the game soon. This will happen regardless of GameSpy's status, so server admins are urged to upgrade their servers to the latest 1.63 Steam patch ASAP." This is what he was talking about. BE is pulling support for non-steam versions soon. Dayzlauncher.com will be the new way to join once that happens. It's already working with the new steam versions and works quite well.
