Jex 1104 Posted July 25, 2014 I feel your pain man, but in the end if everyone on this thing was friendly why come back? The zombies? You could kill the entire server load of zombies with an axe... The PvP thing is the only reason to be here. I have not killed a single player yet, been killed though. I think half the reason I am doing it is to see what my breaking point is before I just start capping anyone not naked. This part needs to seriously change or it's bye bye dayz for me. Reg Park 160 Posted July 25, 2014 I feel this is worse than KOS, at least you know from the beginning they're not friendly instead of being betrayed after a chat. But, I also think it's funny.....really funny when I die in this manner. Gosh I love this game!
Zed's Dead 67 Posted July 25, 2014 This why it sucks so bad that there are not 50 zombies in every village. We only see 4 so there is no threat but people. Lets pray to baby Jesus that this game starts seeing some real improvements and a lot of this issurs of pvp and no role playing will be resolved.
MikeReverb 49 Posted July 25, 2014 I never expect to find anyone friendly in DayZ anymore.Everytime I try to chat someone up, I always get my chesticles shot off. What's important now, Evaris, is how (if at all) will this experience change you? Did you learn anything? Feel like you'll be more careful in the future? Turn bandit? I love to see how people evolve in their DayZ gameplay depending on their experiences. Has this experience changed how you think about the game and other people? You mentioned in a previous post that you'll still be friendly and helpful. What happens when this type of thing happens again as a result?

Already knew things were dangerous. 3. Be more careful? That would be boring.4. Turn banding? Never. Against my personal morals and sense of fun. I've had a lot of positive experiences alongside KoS experiences. Honestly, the biggest problem I had was the lie, but I have problems with anyone lying to me, in real life or online, so that's more of a personal issue.

I can definitely admire this, but I'll admit that I'm surprised you learned nothing from this particular experience. I mean, is there nothing that you did or that the other person did that you can use to avoid getting killed like this again? I guess I see situations like this differently. Going bandit is definitely not the only answer to a situation like this, but everyone I meet in Chernarus teaches me something new, from not turning my back on someone to keeping my gun pointed at the other if he refuses to put his weapon down, etc. Lying definitely sucks in real life or in this game. I've had similar experiences where someone seemed super cool to me and turned out to be a dick. And I learned from that experience hardcore. ;)
