Yeah, also try not to log out near stairs. I logged out at the top of an industrial building when my friend prodded me to go play some diablo 3 with him, and when I logged back in my guy fell through all the stairs and took 13k damage. :D

I had all of the survival gear, including a gps, when it happened!

But oh well, part of the fun of playing the game is starting over and getting stuff again, and it is an alpha, so bugs happen.

I think you mean "had there" :D I fell from the sky spawing in once not long ago. Logged off under a pine tree that has branches all the way to the ground. Not sure if that had something to do with it. I managed to live because I was not unconscious for long . had every other issue and the goods to fix it all.

I've had the same thing happen to me a couple of times. Hiding under the boughs of a pine tree when I log off. Log back on and suddenly I seem to be falling and then hear the bone crunch... timer starts and I'm dead before it's finished.

Almost all of my other deaths are down to the shoot first crew! Most of them from behind. Aah well, that's what happens when you go solo.

Yea shit happends. Had a character with good gear and got spawned on the outside of the map with dead other random dead bodies. had to just kill myself I had no idea which way the map was. Ohwell its alpha so no worries.
