Why the servers reset if the loot respawn now?

No one like to see the server reseting every two hours or four...
And no one can play at night time or know the original DayZ time...

Loot doesn't respawn, and if you dont restart a server every 4 hours or so it starts to get laggy.

All DayZ servers are advised to restart every 2-4 hours anyway, any longer and the games performance drops dramatically.

All DayZ servers, regardless of GSP automatically restart every 4hrs. They can be set for less but can't be set for more.

It doesnt reset just for the loot. No server does. If you don't random dead bodies in suicide spots build up and clog server files and make it laggy :P hense why when a server is freshly restarted you recieve more fps.

Also you can see the server time prior to joining a server on the server screen. Look on the server selection screen and anything past 1700 (about 5 PM in-game time) is starting to get dark.
