I suppose you can distinguish, even with your eyes closed, that the bullet entry is in your back or sides.

How can you talk about IRL firefight ? Have you been fighting, or injured yet ? Maybe yes but !!

 

Better let "If it was IRL" out of the discussion when it's coming to gunfight, injuries, zombie surviving, etc. etc. because the neophites don't know a thing about this... And the pros better not say anything because we suppose to play neophites in the game...

No but if you get shot in the foot or arm you could still get to cover and fight back, depending on the situation whereas in this game you could duck behind cover and whoever shot you might be on the side you're hiding behind because there's no way to tell where the bullet came from, see the issue?

 

Why shouldn't we talk about how things are IRL in a game that aims to be as realistic as it can be? That makes no sense.
