Many people does not like 3rd person in this game. To be honest I also KINDA don't like it only because it's easier for people to look THROUGH walls but....I'm simply used to it :) I played 3rd since I bought the game. I know you can look around the corners but the way I see it is that everyone can :P I play Regular/ Hardcore(less) . I only don't play experimentals :) Thanks for the honesty dude. Now, go play on your 1st person only "Hardcore" server and quit complaining about something that nobody ever complained about since 2001. You must not be paying close attention around here but it's widely regarded as immersion breaking and the camera mechanics may likely be tweaked in the future to make it so you cannot peak around corners or through walls using 3rd person. For the record, I play where I want, how I want, and that means mostly not switching to 3rd person for anything no matter what server I am on. Now go play CoD on DayZ as you most likely do.
