Question about hunger/thirst

As a fresh spawn, is it possible to sprint from one side of the map to the other without dying of hunger or thirst?  For example, can one spawn near Berezino and make it to Balota without stopping for food or water?

The reason I'm asking is because I prefer the west side of the map over the east.  Whenever I respawn I always just want to make the trip and get it over with without having to stop in small towns along the way to keep me alive.  Just wondering if anyone has done it.

You can run for over 4000 seconds after spawning. This is enough time to get across the entire map and then some.

Tis possible.  Every time I am a fresh spawn, I run straight to the NWAF.  Its hardly ever looted, and you can get pretty good gear in one run.
