Steam Achivements + ADD YOUR OWN, Lets make a list!

Almost every game ever released on Steam has achivements. DayZ doesen't. Now i'm not saying players would get rewarded for getting an achivement, but some people might find it fun to try to get some achivements, it would add a meaning to the game, and you could set a goal to yourself to unlock them all.

 

Just for fun, I decided to make a couple:

5- Play for the first time

10-First Zombie Kill - Killing your first zombie.

15-Beautiful Killer - Get a Emerald 1911

100-Explorer - Enter every city in Chernarus at least once

20-Hunter - Hunt and animal, and cook it

20-Fisherman - Go fishing, and eat a fish

25-Mechanic- Repair a vehicle (once they're added in)

10-First Player Kill - Kill your first player

50-Survivalist - Survive 20 hours with a character

50-Zombie Killer - Kill your 100th zombie

75-Zombie destroyer - Kill your 500th zombie

15-The Curse - Enter Green Mountain

20-Meleeing Zombies - Melee your 50th zombie

25-Doctor - Heal another injured player

10-Bandage - Bandage another player

30- Uncrippled - Use a splint to repair you or another players broken leg

15- Cuffer - Handcuff another player

25- Above the Law - Break free from handcuffs

25- Sharing is caring (lol) - Give another player some of your loot

200- Zombie terminator - Kill 1000 zombies

500- Ultimate Survivor - Survive 40 hours with a character

30 - Long distance kill - Kill a zombie/Player from more that 200 metres away.

30- Airborne - Fly in a helicopter for first time (when helis are added, if they are at all)

 

LOL, i went a little overboard. Anyways, do you guys like the idea of achivements, and what do you think of my achivements (feel free to criticize them, or add your own.

 

To add achivements to the list please do it in this format:

(points) - (Achivement Name) - (What the achivement is for)

Double kill - kill two players in 3 seconds

Multi kill - kill three players in 5 seconds

Grenadier - kill player with a grenade

Blinder- kill a player blinded by flashbang

Shovel time - kill player with a shovel

No. That was just for the list, they wouldn't be in the actual game. Just to show which ones are more valuable (I don't why)

Here is a DayZ road map, he mentions there being steam achievements just not being enabled yet because they want the game to be stable before they release them so you wont be able to glitch/hack to get the achievement.

I never stole it. Infact, I watched it a few days back and I remember him talking about it. I never even clicked your link. I responded to a question, and never even saw your post.

Zombie Genocider- kill 53,595 zombies

This is my boom stick!- saw off the double barrel.

You've got red on you- kill 1000 zombies via shovel.

Fantastic!- used the camera mode for the first time.

Magic missle- kill something with a thrown object.

I would like it if some of these achievements unlocked simple items, like a t shirt with the dayz logo on it, or perhaps a long sleeve white shirt with a red splotches on it in the case of the Shaun of the dead reference.

Anything PK-related shouldn't be in because PK in DayZ is optional.

 

Anyway (didn't check other suggestions, may be duplicates),

• I Can See My Back! - try out the 3rd person on a Regular server.
• Macho - Have 100 hours more played on HC servers than on lamecore.
