you got spammed by ZEUS, lol i didnt realise greek gods were in yet <3

Oops. Damn auto correct! It was supposed to be zeds, not Zeus. Oh well, Zeus sounds better. I'll take a look at your post in the feedback tracker. The movement in .47 is definitely annoying.

Got hit 6 times in by a zombie, didn't get any damaged clothes, or items, and did not bleed. It's random mate.

If it's random then it's a little too common.  Happened to me several times, more than 50%, while playing this morning.

Did you ever try sprinting in crouched position IRL?

sprinters in real life start from a crouch and sprint pushing their body as low as possible to force the legs to generate more speed with which to prevent their face from hitting the floor. no one expects to be able to sprint and be crouched, but to go from a crouched position and break into a standing sprint (which i think is more what the guy was pointing out) is totally achievable IRL. in combat situations i can 100%guarantee that a soldier crouched behind a wall looking to move cover is not going to waddle along crouched with a 95% chance of getting shot between cover, hes gonna sprint, and then crouch at his next cover point

I would really like to see some sort of combat roll in situations like this.

Without giving the game away, I didn't notice the proximity alert despite players being close by. Hopefully it's gone forever.

Been keeping eye on it and it seems that the red chain was removed. However I suspect that the bubble impact still is there but is not announced by red chain.

As for the bandwidth, when I spotted another player about 300-400 meters from me on NWAF and checked my bandwidth it was steady 87 so tracking players by bandwidth seems not possible.

You cant tell me that gif is not perfect for you.. and you are on a mission so. ;)

No, I dont mind the new movements at all. Did not bother even once in the entire 3 hours I played earlier so.. I say they can stay. Or change I am indifferent.

I noticed that the new crawling sprint is far more useful and realistic than going from crawl to sprint. It allows for more sneaking than the previous system

no. sprinters aren't crouched. they are more like standing in a horizontal fashion. maybe thats not the best way to explain it; their body is still very much elongated. being horizontal allows you to gain initial horizontal momentum quicker. starting from an actual vertical but crouched position would not be advantageous at all, and running in a continual crouch is both slow and incredibly tiring.

Those hoppers.. man you have to watch them in action from the profile as they hop after their prey.

In my case I had  a train of 3 on me in Berezino last night, my wife watching, and low and behold she says to me, "oh cute, a cow!" which I did not really see in my focus.. and I ran towards the cow to see if my little friends would be interested in a slower meal. They were.

I backed off and watched them attack while the cow ran for dear life.. those hoppers.. holy hell, from the side they look like they are leaping 20 feet per step.. its a sight to see. :)

To those saying the crouch/sprinting changes make sense:

Imagine that you're crouching IRL and suddenly have to make a run for your life. Will you first stand up and then run? Or will you start running and stand up in the process?

I don't understand how can they make the movement so fine in one version (.46) and then screw it up so horribly in the next (.47).

Then we can confirm that thee boots either have space for something our minds can't grasp or that they are a work in progress.

i am amazed so many people think this doesnt make sense also, i found the 0.46 movement updates a god send, only to be fish slapped in the face in 0.47, this and the fact that now you need to use the sprint double tap just to use fast pace in a crouched stance makes a lot of the controls really counter intuitive

at no point did i say they sprint crouched, but when they are in the stocks, they ready them selves in a crouched position, as i said, then use that initial position to then push their body forward starting lower and finishing being in an upright full sprint. the point is YOU CAN start to sprint from crouched in real life, and in the previous patch in game, it makes sense and i think it also makes a lot of sense from a gameplay point of view to be able to do so, 0.46 had it right, 0.47 has taken away a good alround movement control scheme

no. sprinters are NOT in a crouched position when they start. the start position for sprinters is not analogous to the position you are in when you crouch with a rifle, the comparison makes no sense.

Was I on a hardcore exp. server with you earlier tonight? I joined into one that seemed to be starting fresh and a player with your name was in it.. ended up just me and him for the longest time, and finally when I saw what I thought might be you.. I looked and there were other players ingame.

I almost walked up to some random player and was like, "Hey Odin are you from the forums?" LOL

they would have been so confused.. and I would have been so dead. ;)
