Pale Blue Menu Screen - Is there a Fix?

Recommended Posts

For some unknown reason, rather than the standard display of your character in their current gear, my background is just pale blue.

That in and of itself does not bother me... However, I now cannot change my default character.

Is there a way to fix this?

I get this too when I first boot up the game. I haven't found a proper fix but what does work is selecting 'change server' and then once that opens select 'cancel'. The game then reloads the main menu and I find it works as it should then with your character visible and etc.

Not even that fixes it for me

Having -nosplash and -noPause and or -world=empty together in the launcher cmd options causes it to go pale blue in the menu.

Your welcome. :) I put up with it because I liked having all of them there but I eventually got tired of it. :P
