They said M4 wouldn't spawn in the military spawns of Balota, NEAF, NWAF or any military bases and would be a heli crash spawn only. And it's exactly what's happening. They don't spawn in prison, barracks, ACT, hangars, etc. Only at heli crashes. An heli crash at Balota, is still an heli crash and doesn't mean M4 spawns in normal military spawns. They are still rare in my opinion, as for every M4 I come across, I've just passed 10 SKS, 5 Mosin, 15 shotgun, 25+ pistols, etc. You get the point... Besides, it doesn't matter how many M4s are out there, what matters is magazines and ammo. The reason everyone ran the M4 pre-0.45 is because the ammo was easily the most plentiful in the game. tobias winfro 305 Posted June 26, 2014 Welp, this only destroys the very premise of M4s being rare.I've found 8 chopper crashes in the last 40 hours of experimental and have found 1 M4, some hand guards, magazines and buttstocks. I won't tell you I've been the first one to find them all but half the ones I've found shortly after restart have had only components, ammo, clothing and a few other miscellaneous items. So yeah I would say chances of finding them is still quite low, unless you server hop looking for crashes 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
irl-calibre 744 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) when I kinda lost touch with the mod, they were working on making the helo crash sites dynamic. was the Dev team not inspired by what the community did? was moe fun watching a helo lose control and crash, than it just appearing there a smoldering wreck.. Edit : I found one east of the nwaf about parallel with the ne barracks - had a few 30 mags and MP butstock and a 1911 - was all I could find in the pitch dark, was impressed that I even seen it in the first place..
