BUckENbooz 2 Posted June 25, 2014 Hey everyone, I'm assuming this forum isn't for just DayZ Standalone but the mod as well? I hope so because that's what this discussion is. If not let me know I can get it removed somehow. I been playing DayZ mod for about 5 months now. My main DayZ mod is Epoch/Overpoch. Since I started playing I was very bad. Just a typical noob dying over and over due to not using my head or just making horrible decisions. I've gotten better happy to say, and I stay alive a lot longer and seem to be holding well. My question isn't really on how to get better but more of what to do in a situation I am about to ask. During missions I'm always stuck with the decision to either take the AI out now or wait for someone else to do it. I'm sure I can speak for most when I say missions are basically groups of people hiding somewhere in a tree or busy waiting to either see or find someone and take them out. For the longest time I would take out all the AI out in a mission and wait for the first guy to try and run up to the loot. But the only problem is they would hear me at that point and grow even more suspicious of my whereabouts. I've tried wating patiently for someone to make the first move on AI while I'm searching about seeing if I cant find anyone but some people in the server I am would probably wait all day if it wasn't for the server restart. What should I do in a situation like this? What do you guys think is the best thing to do? Lately I've taken a SD weapon to missions so I can improve my stealth, but it still doesn't really completely resolve staying hidden. Mainly looking out for opinions, appreciate all feedback! kichilron 8550 Posted June 25, 2014 There is a section for the mod, but that would be the official Mod, not Epoch. We are in no way affiliated with Epoch / OverWatch or even OverPoch. The official mod doesn't have AI nor missions nor anything of that sorts. Last, but not least you have posted in the DayZ Standalone section, which has even less to do with this.
