Helicopter crash site not same on all servers?

So I found a helicopter crash site. Looted it and then changed to a different server. I spawned at the same place but the helicopter was gone. I then tried some other servers but with no luck. I then went back to the server where I first found it and it was there again.

 

Are the crash sites different on every server?

And as you have just proven there is a reason why they're not the same on all servers. Everybody would - just like you - serverhop to acquire all of the gear.

Random position every restart.

 

Different position on every server however by luck you can find crashed heli in same place on different server.

Recent reports have stated that helicopter crashes are random, and a small percentage have a chance to spawn epic purple lootz. I saw a pair of shoulder-pads that were so epic, they were translucent...
