imperian_man 31 Posted June 22, 2014 I was away for a few updates, alot of em,I just wanted to ask did FPS get an performance improvements what so ever?Has it gotten any better?Anyone has a simmiliar spec like me?What is your FPS?AMD FX 6300HD 7790
plexico 386 Posted June 23, 2014 I don't think they have begun to do optimization yet, but I am certain that in the end a constant 60 fps will be inachievable in all places just like ArmA 2 and 3.
TonyMahony 17 Posted June 23, 2014 In my eyes the last update made it even worse. I lost about 5-10fps in certain areas.I got still enough FPS though, but I hope it will get better in the future.
NinjaTurkey 255 Posted June 23, 2014 I dont think so no, but for some reason i get decent enough frames to record with in the new massive city but terrible frames in svet (which is a much smaller town). It confuses me.
archamedes 238 Posted June 23, 2014 My fps dropped considerably making it almost unplayable for me. I thought they may have turned on some of the graphics options, but even whgen i lowered everything down to low it was still about 5-15 fps
The-MCV- 149 Posted June 23, 2014 The fps increased a BIT in 0.40 I think or w/e.
tom0311 1 Posted June 24, 2014 I get 35-45 in cities and about 45-50 in the forests.
byrgesen 1341 Posted June 24, 2014 No big improvement yet, but they are working on 64-bit server (almost done) and disconnecting the renderer from the simulation.Once that is done, and either a update or complete replacement of the renderer has taken place, we should see some big improvements. But that is most likely to happen in Beta, where most of the game optimization usually takes place :) One of the big issues atm, is that the game is rendering EVERYTHING within view distance. This means your computer is using resources on rendering every single piece of loot, all objects, and all terrain, in, behind and outside all buildings in almost 2km radius, which is very ineffecient and demanding.Once they find a way to only render what they need to render, we will see a big CPU "loadoff" so to speak, and the game should run a whole lot better.
GunnyITA 107 Posted June 24, 2014 i have an incrase of 0,013 fps in town and 0,027 on woods ...off course i'm joking.
Mos1ey 6301 Posted June 24, 2014 But that is most likely to happen in Beta, where most of the game optimization usually takes place :) This.^ You more than likely won't see any big changes with regards to performance for a long time yet. The game should run alright on the specs that you posted though. My friend runs mostly "high" settings on an FX-6300 and GTX 760 and he doesn't have any problems with performance.
Kaboki 62 Posted June 24, 2014 With a decent CPU and GPU the performance is excellent allover. If anyone remember when the alpha got released the performance was terrible even in rural areas, they have made really good progress with performance since then. whothehellishe 81 Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) Been a while since i played, i used to have 45fps in Berezino, now i got 23. Uninstalled. I will try again when final or not...so many zombie games lately.. Edited June 24, 2014 by whothehellishe
wolfecho89 1 Posted September 17, 2014 After 0.48 my frames dropped even more than usual.
shutupwalter 46 Posted September 20, 2014 This update actually seemed to increase my fps. Normally would get like 15-20 fps in cities, 25-40 fps elsewhere. I'm running 20-25 fps in cities comfortably, 30+ elsewhere. Also don't be an ass, "thats teerible 1080p 60 fps constant xDDDD" I expect half this site to respond this way
hleVqq 139 Posted September 20, 2014 Since 0.49 I'm experiencing constant multi-second FPS spikes after staying in game for a while (30+ minutes, perhaps), which wasn't the case before 0.49.
