alferret 45 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) Logged out whilst in a room, usual thing I do when I leave the game. Logged back in a few hours later only to find the option for opening a door missing so I'm basically stuck in a room with 3 doors non of which open.Logged out and back in on 3 other regular servers and still same issue.Logged out and joined a hard-core server, middle mouse button still works btw and I'm unable to climb ladders which suggests to me that any action that requires using middle button (although still bound correctly) isn't working and it's driving me nuts lol.Any ideas? qww 287 Posted June 20, 2014 ist probably just because the game has been lagging out pretty badly, when its lagging u will be unable to open doors, and perform most actions in game.
alferret 45 Posted June 20, 2014 Didn't seem to be any lag on the servers I tried, zero desync all seemed good.
qww 287 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) ok maybe it was another issue, but speaking from a lot of experience id say that was what was happening, especially since its been so bad over last 24 hours or so. good luck anyway, is it still not working now? you keep trying ? Agrefits 70 Posted June 20, 2014 I had the same problem, Accidentaly been playing with todays experimental update on stable servers, thats what i think caused the problem for me. After i patched DayZ back to stable, things worked out for me again.
alferret 45 Posted June 21, 2014 Thanks for the replies. All fixed now, all came back as it should after a reboot (5th or 6th) of computer. Maybe Dayz wasn't loading a file properly which stopped me opening doors or climbing ladders.
