Welcome fellow DayZ survivors and bandits! Senchi has just tweeted about adding a new small village called Dobroe above Karmanovka and new huge building complex in Novo. Maybe this is what they are adding in the experimental update later tonight? :D

My post went relatively unnoticed then, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. So that means there are potentially THREE towns we know of still to be added to the game: Dobroe, Smirnovo, and Black Meadow (which was less than half finished and got pulled from the game again in 0.45). I'm hoping they add more cool areas in the north besides just towns. They're already off to a good start with the new quarry.

Oops, you're correct. I'm forgetting the proper "name" then; the town I'm referring to never had any road signs or anything. What I meant was the town in the extreme northwest :)

i thought i got over the sounds (gates opening, drinking, reloading) when i first started playing. then, the other day, i was looting Zelenogorsk, walked around a corner after hearing a soda open, and i saw two guys. one was drinking, the other emptying an M4 mag into my face.

 

can not wait until these sounds that have caused my death on many occasions are removed.

There will be towns all along northern highway. There are streets, parking lots and roads everywhere.

There will be towns all along northern highway. There are streets, parking lots and roads everywhere. 

This is very true. I really do hope they put all of that to good use and make the north feel as "complete" as the southern coast does.

So would I. By "above" I don't think Senchi meant straight north, more like northeast. There are a couple little places for a verrrryy small town to be added.

I remember about two month ago the forum mods said they would pass this atrocity along. Sounds like they did.
