Did The Newer Servers Reset Gear?

I expected the new update to reset my gear in the servers. I joined a server and it did. However I left and joined other servers with the same version and all my gear from the previous day is there at the millitary base o.O Im confused which server I should believe.

Morel like a lot of the crappy servers are disconnected from the hive. Hop around and it'll work fine.

I got reset. Played last night (Stable Regular) then tried again today after the update and had a new character on the coast.

 

I tried 2 different servers (Gameservers.com) and both had me as a freshie. First time for me.
