Narrow Escape

Almost died today on experimental hardcore but made a narrow escape. Fortunately he couldn't shoot very well (well to kill me anyway).
Because I did not have my weapon up I tried to be friendly and greet him but this hero started to shoot anyway. When you see me opening the direct communication I shouted something like "fucking coward!" I had a shotgun but only 2 shells and no ammo for my Magnum so I did not try to fight or ambush him. Also, my FPS isn't great either on experimental so that won't help in a fire fight too. He hit me a few times and broke an arm, testament to the 5.56 doing less damage. I think a SKS or AKM would have killed me. My rags were ruined so it was a race against time to find some rags which I did just in time. So I lived to fight another day.

 

Some think KOS is less prevalent on hardcore but in the last 15 hours of play I was KOS'ed 3 times...so don't count on it.

Why I share this? Don't really know, because I can I guess :)

lol yeah, probably should have ran out immediately but he probably would still have shot me in the back. I felt there was a chance he would not shoot as he didn't shoot right away.

I'm pretty positive that your best bet is to run as soon as he raises his weapon. Def. not stand still.. Perhaps run of to your right, to the back of the store and escape there.
