fluxley 2228 Posted June 15, 2014 Fine, as long as it takes 5 minutes everytime to want to open a can in game.

gaerteuth 19 Posted June 15, 2014 I prefer the "grind it against concrete" method.
Mos1ey 6301 Posted June 15, 2014 Would you rather have to find a can opener or mash "F" for 6 minutes while your character performs a can squashing animation?
yorkmorgan 191 Posted June 15, 2014 I imagine you could cut your hands up pretty badly doing that. I'd be up for it if it takes about 5 minutes and there as a decent chance of it causing bleeding.
Damnyourdeadman 1045 Posted June 15, 2014 Would you rather have to find a can opener or mash "F" for 6 minutes while your character performs a can squashing animation?I think you got something here! What if we get this squashing animation and have a 40%-75% food drop percentage? 11tw 106 Posted June 15, 2014 I once starved to death with a backpack full of canned food. Just thought you might find that interesting. Seriously though, in real life there are so many improvised ways of doing so many things, and so we either need to go: 'we'll just include the important stuff', or we can include every single way of doing everything ever. If I was starving with a backpack full of food, I think I would mash the cans against the wall, and catch the food in my hands/shirt. The spilling thing makes no sense. When you are hungry, food on the ground looks surprisingly appetizing. Not hygienic, but better than all of your food disappearing because you didn't use a can opener.
