KOS bandits miss 11 sks shots at point blank range...

Tbh, I am shocked that the bandit was not able to hit me. This is probably a perfect example to alwayz zero your weapon to "50 - 100" meters in cities.

Still I find it quite funny.

Really how many did I miss, 3 shots versus 11 shots in a sks? lol

* 2 hits to kill both targets

 

As for the guy hitting me, it was the nerfed shotgun pellets hitting my helmet.

 

*1st target

- Shot in the leg 1st, then sniped later by the 2nd shot.

 

*2nd target

- Shot in the back with two shots.

I love how folks still try that blitzs move they rush rush rush like its an FPS TDM game hahaha some simple tactic will suffice it think.

Yeah I knew quickly after seeing the 2nd player, I knew I would had to play a sort of guerrilla style of game-play. After every two shots, I would re-position and continue trying to evade all the bullets.

 

Being limited to two shots was tough, but the very least I knew if the bullets hit the target, considerable damage would occur.

 

What is also funny, is how they waited for me to come around the corner in the area I escaped from... because they should have spotted me flanking on the hill.

Honestly no matter how bad or good at aiming some folks are, since I started playing the Stand Alone on December 18th, I don't consider anyone good or bad at aiming. The netcode in the SA is so unstable that it doesn't matter how good or bad your aim is. Desync, lag, bad bandwidth and the rubberbanding makes it all a matter of luck mostly.

 

I've been shot dead when I was totally hidden in a closed room because my body was appearing outside of the said room to the other player. I've seen players shoot in front of them only to kill a player standing behind them. :huh: I've made 800 meters + shots and killed my target, and shot point blank in the head of a guy with a magnum, just to wait 2 secs and get rubberbanded back to my initial position, and the dying even though the only shot ever heard was mine, 2 meters away from the guy...

 

With the current state of the Alpha, I'll never recognize a good or bad shot. It's all a matter of luck, pixels, and the internets.

 

(Of course those guys had poor tactics, and I like your vids Sobiesky, but most of the time aiming as nothing to do with it in our current build.)

The information you provided is quite true, having good ping and fps does determine allot of the actions in this game. 

 

The FPS is a big deal and I am currently putting together a video to show how to improve it.

* Of course there are both pro / cons but the info will be good.

 

Thus the purple font , on the top left . 

* On Screen Displays regarding GPU usage. Was just info I was to test the overall frames in the area.

O man, did you play the DayZ mod, the 1st zombie to hit you "ALWAYS" makes you bleed.

* Most annoying shit ever. 

 

Tbh, I think the ballistic helmet must have saved me from being wounded.

O man, run to the 1st building that is enter-able, throw down a slow aoe spell and force them to "WALK"!

 

Then pull out the zombie killing machine, the holy axe!

* and kill like 40+ zombies because it's so op.  lol
