Worth coming back

My first post ,

 

Uninstalled the game about 2 months ago waiting for new content.

 

I'm finding it hard to find a concise list of current features , but sorry if there on this forum somewhere.

 

Is it worth me re-installing

 

Is the loot re spawning and do they have storage etc.

 

oh and whats the state of the zombies.

 

Any info would be much appreciated.

Still have poor dispersion for weapons and weapon stats modified by attachments

 

ohh and zombies havent been fixed one bit.

Not worth playing at the moment if you are looking for fun and entertainment.. Patches have been long overdue and they are making very slow progress.

 

Worth playing if you are want to help looking for bugs which are everywhere and rage at the glitches which gets you killed..

I would wait until the next patch hits stable (which hopefully wont be too long)

The zombies are being "recreated" from scratch and the new navmesh will assist greatly. Big strides are being made but nothing is yet publicly available. Check the tumbler for more info ill link in a min.

Why did you uninstall?

The updates will come in time.

Do you want to be reinstalling the whole thing from scratch when that time comes?

For the moment beign there is just,not enough content.

Zombies are still,teleporting through walls and lag+desync makes you feel like your playing the game on a potato.

If you have nerves of steel and are not easily frustrated,then i suggest by all means.

Regarding myself,i'd rather wait though.

When the latest exp hits stable I think it would be worth testing it out again. Offcourse there arent any vehicles yet and the zombies are still lacking numbers and buggy as hell, but it has alot of new cool things like animals, hunting, campfires and cooking and probably some other things I forgot about. Just check it out, and if you don't like it then just wait a few months more and then come back again...

dont come back, the game is unfinished (as it is a alpha) and the hackers, oh god the hackers. at least 2/3 of the people playing this game is hacking, or if they are a  brazilian

The list of fanboys is reduced daily, people have opened their eyes, nobody cares about your "its alpha" arguments.

Lack of content has nothing to do with alpha but crappy engine which is on the way out.

Actually its not the same engine its a brand new engine, replacing the old in stages. Either way it was the main reason for game being stalled, had nothing to do with it being alpha. There are games well advanced of dayz but were released around the same time.

I'd wait for the patch which is hopefully Wednesday, give it a go and see how it is.  You can always take another break, the games not going any where :]

Ok guys thanks for the heads up. I only uninstalled due to ssd space issues.

I will look out for the latest patch.
