Yuval 221 Posted June 14, 2014 I feel that DayZ mod's HUD (The hunger, thirst, blood, temp.) is very special and represents and concept of dayz. Every screenshot of the mod that contains the HUD was clearly talking about DayZ. It's just part of it. It's really better to use the GUI instead of those annoying messages at the chat. If those messages are actually important for some reasons than it's possible to 'switch GUI modes' in the options menu I guess? Just think about making the HUD from the mod, and even extending it - Like adding some symbol that represents the days your character survived, stomach capacity - just use your imagination, but that HUD makes the game feel much better! I personally hated seeing the HUG on my scrren.
TIC 1050 Posted June 14, 2014 It'd be great if it could be merged towards the journal instead. Perhaps there could be words written in the journal saying "I'm feeling quite hungry at this time. I better find some food" just like how it is when you have a weapon.
WizardofPug 6 Posted June 14, 2014 Then people could loot the journal and see the stats/life of the person they just killed/found.
