is there a way to save your controls as default

you guys know how unfavorable dayz controls are so i have to change a billion things to play correctly but my conrols seem to get reset every once a while randomly.... so i was wondering if i can save my controls as default

Don't think you can as the game saves them automatically as you change them. I did have mine reset as well, but only once, when the .42 patch went to stable. Not sure why yours would randomy reset.

make your user.cfg file read only..

I guess making a copy off it might work as well.
