Animal locations (Experimental Build))

A few days ago I decided to make my home in the far NW part of the map.  I'm pretty much alone up there.  I'm kitted up and want to hunt and cook food.  But in 3 days of running through the wilderness I haven't seen a single animal.  Are there certain locations where they tend to spawn more frequently?

Assuming they're the same as in the mod (which I can't confirm) - it's completely random.

You will find most animals spawn points are south of the railway track - I have only found 1 boar north of the railway line ( it was only 200m north of the line )

 

Your best bet to find most animals are nearer to towns - most animals I have found within 1000m of habitation.

 

There are some locations that are worth investigating that have yielded animals - the probability of animals being here is variable so happy hunting.

 

 

 

If anyone has seen any Goats could you please post a location as so far i have seen none - would like to cook some Goat Steaks :D

For some reason I haven't found one on the eastern part of the map. In my experience on experimetal I've only found 3 animals : a chicken , a deer , and a cow all within a triangular like proximity between three towns near NW airfield ...

Always found in a field for me , although naturally I thought first to look in the woods .. But it's so exciting seeing them I can't wait til they replace the ones that are placeholders !

There are a bunch of cows on a pasture inland.... forget which town. I remember the route, but not the name. There are 3 to 4 at a time, and a little shack. Also, near the buildings above berezino, the little village usually has a boar or deer skulking around in the trees.

If you go to vybor I've found plenty of animals around there also just south of svetlo and about 500m South of those sheds on the north highway also on the road to Polana from dolina there's a barn to the left after the t intersection in the field to the north I found a boar there

I don't know the location, it's one of the new one spawn points in a village inland. I've spawned there about twice and ended up losing that character twice on experimental before I could get anywhere to see whereabouts it is.

Anyway, my second spawn there I spawned in an area of two goats. Maybe someone can point to where it is from this single terrible screenshot I have of it.

i killed it but had no knife with me... unfortunately it kind of despawned (it was gone) after i returned from stary, this time with a knife :(

 

 

oh, and i can cofirm the cow spawn at pustoshka (from JohnDMarshall)

A shit-ton of cows spawn in a field between Zub and Mogilevka, next to the road headed for Vyshnoe. Always found three-four cows here, you should too.

i already have all the Locations from this thread, and created a map

I have wandered from the very east to west, in search of a single animal to hunt.. Animals must be extremely rare, I couldnt found a single one and now i get session lost error everytime i try to join a server. Started to be annoying actually
