Question about depth of field - before considering a bug

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Is it true that Post processing setting from rendering menu should add some kind of depth of field effect?

It is strange that with the latest stable build 0.44 I tried all possible settings "Very Low" to "Very High" and I only saw a blur while running, no depth of filed. Rotation blur and bloom is set to zero. Is this setting related with some other setting? Does depth of filed effect exist in DayZ?

EDIT: I have tried with two different video cards: Intel & nVidia using Windows 7 SP1 DirectX 11

Post processing does the blur thing. It also eats up your resources like a bitch.

Well I wouldn't wonder if DoF doesn't work. There are some other graphic options that are bugged too.
