I'd rather not have hundreds of people running around with penises for faces TBH. I would definitely like to see some further character customisation (think Skyrim, without the weird lizard people etc. obviously) later in development though! I think I read something about uploading your own face being too difficult to implement - anyways it would nice to have but I would also be okay with a face generator that offers enough options to make people recognisable by looking at their face. Redstar Payne 54 Posted June 3, 2014 The whole penis situation can be solved, you simply take the ability away from players to go that far. Make customizing simple with minimal sliders for jaw width and size, nose length/ width, eyes depth, head size and shape, body size and tone (both muscle and color) and height. Don't add that whole face mapping option because then you will get that, just stick to basics with enough customization to keep people happy and you can avoid penis faces all together. You'll still deal with people making there faces completely ridiculous as in Big nose, Deep eyes and small forehead but hell let them its their character lol plus they are fun to shoot. Evil Minion 943 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Height could also have some advantages:- higher reach when looting (longer arms)- higher melee attack range and/or damage (again - longer arms)- higher movement speed (long legs) But thats basically the reason I did not include height in my suggestion and made weight something that would be aquired by a certain playstyle (hunger -> thin/light, overeating -> fat/heavy, sports -> athletic/no weight change) instead of chosen at the beginning. Instead of this I suggested different body types that change the silhouette and should only have minor influence on your ability to hide. I think this would also make a bigger impact in terms of mid-range identification/customization in general than having different sizes that are shaped exactly the same. Lithium1056 45 Posted July 15, 2014 Photo mapping faces to 3D models would indeed be too difficult, the standard slider options is fine.Height and weight is plausible but with in reason. Say 5'6" to 6'2" range because. I like the concept that weight is effected by consumption of food. (IE: Fable) over time you'd lose weight from running.
