0.45 won't be tomorrow because there are still pretty big bugs that need to be fixed .

Soon.....tm.

Remember rocket and co have taken Valve time and ran with it. Though for good reason, getting shit done right, My guess is in the next few days to mid june. Unfortunately the rubber-banding wasn't a server problem but something in the code. (something to do with Nag or whatever. I don't speak programmer) Thus it wasn't a easy-ish fix.

But the AK is worth waiting for IMO.

Will the the patch fix the problem about the character will roll back everytime in the building you were came out? (Along with the risk to fall down and die)

I think everyone agrees that this might be the most important patch the game has received for some time now.

So,we should be patient... :)

As much as I'm looking forward to this patch, I am not looking forward to a rushed patch where there's tons of issues that don't allow for atleast somewhat of a stable experience.

yes really looking forward to this patching through!!! More experimental servers would be good so all our friends can try the new items. I mean we have waited months for things like hunting, fire crafting. 2 million people own Day Z . I bet most of them want to try the new items. Theres only about 40 experimental servers so most people got to wait.

also, the new designs for the fireplace, animals, AK gun, and other new items all have a very nice art style and look realistic while keeping a slightly stylised appearance, so well done to the creative team and artists for all their hard work!

The stable version is going to be great because it is a great leap towards making this game a survival game. But devs have confirmed the rubberbanding wasn't server issues but directly related to the patch, so they definitely need to fix that before pushing it to stable.

Can some of you who run exp clarify:

Is the AMK actually an AMK? As in it does MORE dmg vs an m16? I've played a few dayz mods (hard to keep track) but one of them the m16 did more damage which is hilarious.

Can we run attachments on AMK?

Thanks

Currently there is no m16 in SA.

The AKM in SA comes with replacable handguard and buttstock, and there is a PSO scope for it.

I'd say it does the same dmg as SKS since it uses 7,62x39mm.

As folks already pointed out, you can get folding stock (it does not fold) and PSO optics, 75rnd drum mag, aftermarket 30rd mag and the default 30rnd mag. I'd wager that later we get some RIS handguard, but it's not in atm.

Well they also said the rubberbanding has nothing to do with the build but rather exp servers themselves. So I could see the update tomorrow because other than that it was fine for me.

At least it's not coming out of his mouth.

Give it time.  They all come back after a good timeout and pretend to be nice.  ;)

If its not stable you cannot release it as stable. As its alpha in either case "stable" means "no performance loss".
