Not sure exactly where I am, maybe Polana?

I am not exactly sure where I am. I am trying to meet up with my friend, but before I can I need to know where I am. I think I am in Polana? There is a Supermarket, and right next to it there is a house with a piano on the ground floor. There are two/three wrecked cars in front of the piano house. There is a water well also in the town. There is a building (barn?) with haybales on the floor, with a entrance that is a large arch with Russian word on it. From looking at dayzdb, I am fairly certain that I am in Polana, but any help would be appreciated :)

looks like polana to me. I took a pic of a soldier zed standing not too far from where these pics come from. you should be more or less facing gorka in those pics - I think.

 

edit: makes me think this could be a good side game - I've seen a lot of posts like this - put up a pic and guess the location. prizes to be determined later.

Next time when you are lost, look for a road that leads out of town. There is always a Sign there stating the name of the Place, then compare the letters you see http://dayzdb.com/map

 

Friendly server are against the official serverrules btw. and nothing happens if you pvp, because the admins can't enforce anything. They can not know who shot anyone.

I use iZurvive for the iPhone to help me get around. Great app for when you get lost or want to locate items. You can just type in street sign names and it pin points it on the map on the app itself. Bunch of other features, I barely use it now because I've memorized a lot of locations because of the app. Shows water supply, weapons, etc.
