To craft a molotov you would need a Whiskey bottle and matches to make. The molotov is silent , but when zombies are on fire they can eaither turn you on fire or do bonus damage. To extenguish yourself eaither dump Pepsi on yourself or go in a lake , or raining. Molotov would be common in super markets and apartment blocks , rest rare.

you could also use a jerry can to fill your whiskey bottles a bandage and matches to craft.

I reckon that a molotov would be great and come in handy when you have stirred up a few zombies and you are stuck on a roof top just drop a couple of them on top of em and hey presto path cleared and kentucky fried zombies

cool idea, i was thinking ye would use a combination between the whisky bottles, jerry can (or refill the bottles at a fuel pump) and matches.

gives an extra use for ze bottles a well i guess.

This could be pretty entertaining, and it would make all those whiskey bottles useful.

I suggest that the player need to have matches to use a molotov, and that there be a minimum range for it to break, ie, if you toss it 4 feet it won't break.

The only issue is the size of the fire created. This is a good example of what it should look like:

Better still here is another way of crafting a Molotov cocktail: much simpler, easier obtained and fair for fresh spawned players

1 by whiskey bottle

1 by jerry can to fill the whiskey bottle/s

1 by road flare, just jam this sucker in the neck of the bottle/s

this way you are not wasting a precious bandage.

Having using a road flare for the fuse of the Molotov(lets face it finding matches are as rare as rocking-horse shit when you first start out), will enable a fresh spawned player the ability to at least arm themselves with something quite quickly, as these items can be found around at most spawn sites without having to go to far to get at least 1 or 2 made.

This way if a new player stirs up a hoard of zeds, they can at least barbecue a few and get away or even clear a room full of zeds and get the loot.
