Then you press escape and connect to another server with another timer. Not sure if this issue could be fixed by the DayZ team as it could be a server issue, also to OP, this isn't really a gamebreaking issue, highly doubt this will be fixed anytime soon. I'll log onto a server get a 99 second wait timer and when it's over it says 'Please Wait' on an infinite loop. I have to log out and relog [same server] and get the 99 seconds again, rinse repeat 3x total and maybe throw in an additional 30 or 60 second timer before I can actually log in. Happens to everyone in our colony so its not just me. So far its gotten several vote-ups so its no isolated to us. Before the 99 second timer we would get the 299 second timer 3x plus an additional lower second timer before a successful login.No, he means when you connect to a server, and it just says please wait for x amount of time. No I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the same server, not another server. To us and our group its game-breaking enough to bring it up in the Bug Tracker as well as here. Irish. 4886 Posted May 21, 2014 Ive been playing with a friend and can confirm that essentially shortly after joining the server your character is in game. So while you see the timer, and the Please Wait on your screen.. you are in game. My buddy Vex who posts here saw this happen when I was logging in after a server restart. I had a 20 something second timer or close to that and then saw please wait for about 30 seconds and he could see me the whole time just standing in the middle of the street. One of the things Ive found that helps break through the please wait screen is press escape.. then continue so it goes back into the game, do not quit. If you do this, most time within a few seconds the game starts. You also will see while you have it "paused" and are looking at the quit menu screen, you can see your player is in game and where he is. Thanks for the support Irish.Same for if the game crashes and then you have to alt-tab-delete to get it to quit.. your in-game the entire time until the game finally quits out.
