Need some honest feedback - annoying voice?

I usually get pretty good feedback and constructive criticism, the dumb comments are easy to ignore.

 

This one I have an issue with - I've had a few comments about one of the people I play with. They say he has an annoying voice. I never thought that at all myself and didn't take these comments seriously at first, but now I'm thinking about it more. I'm not sure what I can do about it as he's great to play with. Please watch at least a minute or two and give your opinion. If these people are in the minority then I'll happily ignore.

That's absolutely my priority. Like I said, doesn't sound annoying to me in the first place.

 

But if it's something which will turn people away from my channel then I think I have to take it into consideration. Wouldn't stop me playing with him at all, he's a champ.

I'm starting to think it might just be other Australians who don't like the more rural accent. Someone called him a bogan in the comments which is sort of the equivalent of a redneck.

Mate, his voice is definitely unique but I wouldn't call it annoying. I have a similar issue with one of the guys I play with, not so much his voice but his "live" mic and breathing. I have worked out how to edit him in sony vegas and now just replace it with in game sound (copy + paste) as long as it dosen't take away too much from the vid. 

 

If you use sony vegas you can also play around with the audio stream and that might help a little. Youtube search for adjusting voice blah blah

 

If you listen around the 1 minute mark here you should hear what I mean... 

 

and then on this vid which had him breathing loudly and constantly throughout the whole thing. I edited him out and hopefully no one is the wiser

That one has 3 thumbs up in the comments. Never had such consistent negative feedback on anything else.

thrak's docile tones over teamspeak do put a smile on my boys faces but who cares bud, he is a top bloke so who's a keyboard warrior to say who you should play with? Take it from us, we get alot of hate on our videos from other clans, even videos of them pretending to be us :) Your doing an amazing job with everything and like you know you have our full backing, so don't stress about the peanut gallery.

HAHA... very funny ad. Never seen it before.

 

Looks like freshwater where sharks usually don't swim... also looks like it was filmed in a southern part of Australia where there are no crocodiles. But still very funny.
