Can't play DayZ Mod

So i put almost 100 hours into DayZ Standalone and decided to try the Mod. I bought Arma 2 and Arma 2 operation arrowhead, used dayz commander to get everything up to date and launched using dayz commander. However literally every single server requires Arma 2 british forces and some other dlc which i was informed i didnt need. So i was wondering if this is a new requirement to play dayz mod. Edit: in my expansions list it has the two in there (british armed forces and private military company) but i cant disable it.

These two dlc's shouldn't restrict you from any server. What is the message you receive when attempting to log into a server?

"You can not edit/play this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted" and then lists a bunch of files

My first step would be to verify integrity of game cache for both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA.

You need the free versions of ACR and BAF to get past the requirement, then if you want the hi-res textures for the expansions you have to pay for them. They're available from the Armaholic website.

Exit the games before trying. Make sure everything's closed. What is showing up in your expansions is the lite version of BAF and PMC, which is included in Operation Arrowhead, don't worry about that.

I checked task manager and no games are up, and if i have the 2 lite versions, then why isnt it working?

It's not those dlc's that are the problem. Try resetting your machine and then again attempting to verify game chache.

Be sure that the servers you're attempting to log into are in fact Dayz, not Epoch or another mod. You can choose to display only DayZ servers in dayzcommander with the function to the left under survivor count (hide empty/full).

It would be fairly lovely if you could tell us what those files are supposed to be. Noone can really work with "some files are missing".

My guess is your trying to join an epoch server or some other mod which requires you to dl it.

1. all servers are listed as version 1.62.95819

2. the files are listed differently every time.

3. i have epoch panthera, epoch, origins, and regular dayz.

Need screen shots or posted config errors to assist you, otherwise we are shooting in the dark and could go over 50 fixes without getting the correct outcome.
