PvP Event in Svelojarsk

  Location in game: Svetlojarsk

 

This Saturday we will continue our PVP scenario campaign. We will host the event in Svetlejarsk . We will run 2 scenarios (or more if we have time). Scenario 2 will probably be run multiple times. So everyone can get a chance to play both sides. 

Scenario 1 - Extraction/Rescue:

Team 1 will have a hostage in handcuffs. Team 1 may choose any location they choose in the city to hold the hostage. They may move freely but the hostage must remain stationary.

Team 2 (with handcuff keys) is to locate and extract the hostage, then escort them to the roof of the TEC (Office) building near the docks for extraction. Team 2 will start the event in one of the Warehouses on the Dock. Obviously if the person holding the keys is killed this team must retrieve the keys to be successful in this scenario. Having more than one set would probably help avoid this problem.

The rules for this scenario:
1) Team 1 may not kill the hostage while he is in their custody. As soon as he is freed he is fair game. 
2) If the hostage is killed before he reaches the extraction point Team 1 Wins. 
3) The hostage will start the scenario with no gear. Once the rescue team reaches him they may provide him with any gear they choose.


Scenario 2 - Escape:
Team 1 - Snipers ( All but 2 players) will take sniper position inside the city. Their goal is to prevent the Escape team from Escaping the city. 

Team 2 - Escape Team (2 Players) Will start at the Gas Station in Svet (West end) and they must safely make it to the roof of the TEC (Office) building near the docks. If 1 or both of the Escape Team make it to the roof of the TEC (Office) building they win. 

The rules for this scenario: 
1) Team 2 must stay within the city during their escape. .
2) Snipers must be off the ground. You must be in a position where you are not on the ground or ground floor. (Second Floor, Roof, On top of a vehicle, etc).

3) Snipers may not move until they can no longer see/shot at the escape team. They may not take another shot until they are in another position that fits the same rules (off the ground)


Anyone is welcome to join us. If you want to participate you must be on Teamspeak. The TS3 server is ts3.transcendere.net or 216.52.143.111. We run these events often (at least weekly) and any survivors/bandits/heroes we encounter during the event are considered part of the scenario . You must deal with them however you need to to win the game. So if you are on of those people who like to spoil the fun for others you are also welcome to join us in Svet and be part of the danger/environment in our little event. It makes the scenarios much more fun in fact.

yeah cool you guys are tryign to create somethign exciting, but why choose svetlo, its a cool town, although its a spawn town, and its lagging, low fps.

why not consider somewhere inland, even krasnostav

We chose Svet because its a cool town. Most of us have no issues in Svet. If you do have lag issues there that's unfortunate.

 

As far as being a spawn town it doesn't matter. We don't kill on sight (especially bambies/freshies) in most cases so unless they threaten us they wont be in danger.

We run these events all over the map. Our last event was In the new city north of NEAB. The one before that was  in Elektro. Before that was Kamishovo. Our Next Event will most likely be somewhere inland like Novy or Staroye.

 

It would be cool if some non clan peeps could make it but if not thats cool too. We usually have 10-12 guys on in the platoon so with pubbers we're looking at 15-20. 

We're going to run another even soon too in the hay fields of Berizino. It will be an all out Melee Only Battle Royale. Last Man Standing. The winner of that event will win a full set of gear including a fully decked out Mosin or M4 and other gear.

Agree with this. About half the people that play totally lag out in this city. My fps goes to low single digits walking in there. I can play all day in Electro or Berez, but stick me in Svet and I'm good as dead. Not sure why it's as bad as it is. I'm guessing they just didn't do a very good job on the code when they rushed the city into the game. It should be cleaned up by Beta though. Maybe you can postpone the event until then...

im not having any more issues than you are, you and everyone will be getting lower fps in svetlo, just like in electro, etc, incase you didnt know that

 

i did say myself its a cool town, ist quite built up, although the spawn town loacation means that people will die, and then run back there instantly.

 

edit, id say do this one at novy and stary, much better idea in my view, but if im about il probably join anyway, il save this page to my faves to remind me.
