n1kko 326 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) I need a pair of handcuff keys. I have spent literally all day (10 hours) looking for a set. I have found enough cuffs to restrain everyone in New York twice, But I have yet to find keys. IDK why they are eluding me so hard. If anyone one has a set they can donate that are in pristine or worn condition, I will be forever in your debt. Based off the iZurvive app, I have traveled roughly 90,000 meters and I looted through two full server cycles in all the major towns and military bases. I'm desperate. opie187 1 Posted May 14, 2014 I always have the same problem... Only solution I can think of is carry multiple cuffs and a hacksaw to just cut em off

Hetstaine 10852 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) Pretend you don't them, then they will appear. Edited May 14, 2014 by Hetstaine
Grimey Rick 3417 Posted May 14, 2014 b. Handcuffs should come with the key attached. Handcuffs are rare enough as it is, but the keys seem to be even rarer (yes, rarer is a word) in my experience. Could we not just have the keys spawn attached to the handcuffs? When you apply the handcuffs, have the key remain in the inventory slot the handcuffs had previously occupied. Upon removing the handcuffs, have the handcuffs and keys then recombine. This doesn't really help the captive remove the handcuffs, but it'd be an improvement to the current system and could potentially give reason to revamping the current escape system. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/177772-why-can-people-break-out-of-my-pristine-handcuffs-in-seconds/
