Spawn in water. Broken leg. Drown and die. No respawn.

Hi people!

 

 

I am extremely frustrated. 2 days ago I bought, downloaded and installed this game and I still have not had it working.

 

This is the system I play it on:

 

Intel i7

16gb DDR3 Ram
GTX 670
RAID 2 x 150gb SSD

 

What happens is I choose a server and I spawn under water or sometimes just above water, then I sink, hit the bottom, text says my leg is broken, I can crawl but I die. There is no respawn button available. If I choose another server the exact same thing happens over and over and over again...

 

I am so frustrated because I really want to play this game (obviously when I bought it), and right now I could just pull my hair off!

 

Someone please tell me this is a fixable bug!!

NB: I tried what some people suggested. - The character should be dead, but the text in the lower left corner still tells that he is hungry and what not, I read that other players had the same bug and they just waited until he died of hunger and THEN the respawn button should appear, but for me that didn't happen!

 

I really need some help here, if not with the game, then to stay sane! ;)

you have to create an account to use the bugtracker.

 

I posted a reply to your post in the other thread you posted about the same issue,  go to http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/190827-dayz-support/ and do what it says in there, this should get you respawned.

So I follow the link to the Feedback Tracker, but in there there is no way to submit anything! - If there is, please tell me how to do that! :)

Believe me I did those things, but I can not submit anything in the Feedback Tracker, there is no option for creating anything to submit!

my bad, I misread what you had posted, I apologize.

 

When you have created an account at the bugtracker and then logged in, there is a long list of links at the top of the page, one of them is titled "Report Issue"

 

Edit:  The list runs left to right along the top of the page

Hey, it sounds like the exact same thing that happened to me. Unfortunately, the only option I found was to stay logged in for about four hours, letting myself die of thirst. Then the respawn button worked and everything has been going fine since then. The base problem is that you're dead, but you're not dead. You have to wait until you die of another method. If someone is in-game and can come shoot you, that should also work.
