Bre3ze 13 Posted May 6, 2014 Since Berenzino has been the new killing ground for fresh spawns, I have needed to change my bandit hunting from Electro to Berenzino.Thing is, how do you counter bandits in Berenzino? Lots of them camp on the apartment buildings and they are usually impossible to penetrate, unless you have 1 or 2 more people with you ( this is considering they are not dumb and will occasionally look around for people and not tunnelling on one spot.) How do you counter these bandits?! I have tried today and successfully got on top of the roof, and saw a bandit on the other side. But then as we were doing the third person stare off, another guy came up from behind and I had to turn my attention to him, resulting in the other guy standing up and shooting me down. SO, HOW DO YOU PLAY HERO IN BERENZINO? :)

comikz 218 Posted May 6, 2014 I find the area with all the cranes and large 2bay garages a good spot, as well as all the storage containers is a good spot to counter snipe from and take cover in, since most people who are there for the PvP are either like you said, in/on the apartments, mini-sniper hill, large sniper hill to the west of the apartments, and the three story buildings leading up from the south towards the clinic/church. Dawnbringerify 10 Posted May 6, 2014 You counter them by playing on first-person servers, where this sort of abuse in third-person whoring isn't possible and the game is less of a camp-fest.
zeroy 240 Posted May 6, 2014 Thing is, how do you counter bandits in Berenzino? Get yourself to balota, equip yourself with mosin + LRS then use the Woods by South of Kelm to get those pesky bandit from apartments :D - mind yourself near that big orange brick house with the well, it is a deathtrap! Ghostflux 100 Posted May 6, 2014 If they are on the roof of the appartments, you can snipe them from pretty much any part in Berezino especially the woods in the northwest part, which is roughly 500 meters. There are appartments on the southside of Berezino you can countersnipe on, and it's roughly 700-800 meters to those flats. It's a pretty hard shot, but they'll never know what hit them. Then there's the docks that are roughly 600-650 meters. And of course there's the industrial site at about 200-300 meters from the appartments. There's a route into Berezino that I won't disclose that closely follows the blindspots that the appartments have. It's entirely possible to reach the appartments without anyone seeing you. Once inside take your time and start messing with them, lure them into coming to you. Constantly let them know you're close to them, but out of sight. You want to make them so paranoid that they can't really snipe anymore.
RustyWar 12 Posted May 6, 2014 Man I wish I was good enough to pull off shots like this: video description: This is my cousin Steve Reichert's appearance on the History Channel sniper special. This was his attempt at the famous Sniper round through an enemy sniper scope Pesky snipers! Your end is near!
Bre3ze 13 Posted May 6, 2014 Hmmm, so I think everyone has the same idea, get a LRS to countersnipe those campers! But a will need to try out all of these locations, since it is always possible of bambis just coming up and punching you, causing them to know your location! jubeidok 495 Posted May 6, 2014 Wow, no one suggested the smoke stack. It's dangerous up there though, as the game doesn't seem to like players maneuvering in tight spaces. I lost a pretty lengthy life up there once, as I was pushed out through the railing when going into a crouch while facing the smoke stack. =( But the upside is you are shooting down to the roof tops so they can't hide. Katana67 2907 Posted May 6, 2014 If I had a dime for every time someone put another N in Berezino, I'd be a dime connoisseur.
