Has electro gone cold?

I just ran through Electro, got a makarov (1 mag left, aggroed alot of z's), lee Enfield 3 mags, clock, knife, matches and hatchet, ton of food, medical supplies (as much as I wanted) and visited office building, fire station, barn, three houses, church and the hospital.

Didn't see a single survivor, and the server was full...

Now that's the first time... Has people been avoiding Electro so much it's pretty much deserted now, or did I have a good portion of luck?

Probably got lucky. Myself and a few others usually have the northern section of electro shut down when we play (although we're up in Stary Sobor atm).

All the fucking barb wire in every building may help. Not only it is annoyinh to no end but it also create horrible graphical glitches

I think its just luck.. You said it was full, but was it a 25/40/60 player server?

I was on a 25 player server last night and got owned by 2/3 guys in the middle of nowhere. Surprised the hell out of me. I re-spawn and hit up Electro and find a group of 3/4 Russians. After they kill me once again, I log off for the night and see there are only about 12 people total on.

I can only answer for myself. I wanted a quick fix, before moving on and wasn't to afraid to die. And again, it sounded really, really quiet.

Haven't been there since DayZ was only 10 servers :P Found it to be a nice re-visit :P

I died because of it earlier. Was a fresh spawn, aggroed some zombies, ran into one of those small small houses just to find the opposite exit blocked by barbed wire I couldn't vault over. Zombies swarmed in from the door I came through, and then I died.

I wish they'd reduce barbed wire drops a bit.

Russians on server or Russian server. In either case do not join, chances that there are hackers doing dumb stuff is increased on such servers.

I apologize to all honest russian player, but this has been my experience not only with DayZ but with so many other multiplayer games, that its just a principle I stick to and also recommend to others.
