whats the strongest melee

Since the latest change I barely go into close combat anymore. Against players I rely on my fists as you can aim so damn precise to the head with them and against zombies I tend to avoid confrontation as the increased time of fighting them only makes you vulnerable for KoS Bandits. If I find a fireaxe and a spraycan I take it with me for good old times sake but that's almost purely cosmetic.

Shock (Head) ?

You will go unconscious if your shock value > blood value. Maximum blood is 5000 units.

 

One hit with the FAxe will knock someone out cold if they don't have any protection on the head.

 

The FAxe also has more range than fists, makes the victim bleed, and has utility.

 

There never was another comparable melee weapon besides maybe the pitchfork, which has more range and somewhat comparable stats. There's also the new pickaxe, which has about the same stats as the FAxe.

 

 

Don't forget the pickaxe. It has got exactly the same stats as the fireaxe (except size, but that doesn't really matter yet, as you can't put it in the backpack):

well seeing as it now takes 5 to 8 hits with a fire axe the bring down a zombie.
