n1kko 326 Posted May 2, 2014 Nothing may come out of this post, but I'm going to let you guys know whats up.The name of this server actually violates a rule... (I think) And the MOTD's aren't any better. (Screen shots attached)So pretty much me and a buddy were at NWAF, and we saw a guy running, so we stalked him for a little while ~10 minutes. He finally saw us and started to shoot at us, we managed to hit him, but he escaped into the ATC, and while in pursuit, we both got kicked. I logged back in to the server only to find out I was dead, but my buddy was still alive. He said my body was completely looted, and that the guy took off. Other than an admin abusing, I have no idea what else it could have been.Server: Abe Fromans Server. No Killing Allowed, Loot OnlyIP: 173.199.100.28:2302Hive: PublicType: Regular Here are some screen shots from the servers MOTD.Sorry for the big black screen. I had to relog because I missed one of the messages the first time. :P
DemonGroover 8836 Posted May 2, 2014 Yep, not allowed. Please look at this thread and report them. http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/158966-dayz-standalone-server-hosting-rules-server-reporting/
blazed 71 Posted May 2, 2014 I have definitely missed the point with this one but... Why would anyone want to pay for a DayZ server, when there are so many rule sets and little variables you can control? You're basically paying to put up servers for DayZ which is otherwise pretty identical to what official servers would be? Is this a case of we can't afford servers so you guys buy them for us kind of thing? Can't even make them private or passworded wtf...?
boneboys 7988 Posted May 2, 2014 If you encounter an abusive admin or server, please do not post it here on the forums. We cannot do anything with these reports. It is not productive and does not expedite action taken against these servers. Please report them to the GSPs directly following the pinned Guidelines.
