main menu - force character animation?

Is there a way to force animations of your character in the main menu? I'd like to make a gif of some of them but sometimes it takes ages before an animation is played.

I have noticed that when I switch from the server list back to the main load screen my char will start her animations right off - yesterday I discovered that if I click and hold LMB while animation is playing I can release the LMB and the animation will finish and start over right away. might not be the same for you but good luck :)
