nanookrubbedit 1 Posted April 30, 2014 The game works just fine on my new PC (with some lag at the main play/choose server/configure/exit screen every time I do anything, but I figure that's normal for this alpha game), but for some reason whenever I exit the game completely, it hangs on a light blue screen for about 30 - 45 seconds, then pops back up with the black screen that says "DayZ": in the middle, with "shutting down" on the top left corner for half a second, then it finally closes. Sometimes it freezes completely and I have to go to task manager and force it to stop. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
NagsterTheGangster 388 Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) Your character stays in the server for 30 seconds after logout... to prevent combat logging. But sometimes server admins abuse it by kicking a player they see in game from the server, then while their character is sitting down logging out they go kill them and take their gear.
