i just bought the game yesterday and when i join a server i cant see my character my screen is black with a little bit of white.....any way to fix it?

Does your puter meet the requirements? Have you set the graphic options on the lowest you can? Perhaps its night and you need to adjust gamma/brightness?

I'm pretty sure he joined a night server and the white things are the stars and the cursor.
