Throwing objects?

Hey there boys and girls. Just got back from weeklong hiatus and heard throwing was implemented.

I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone got a quick tutorial on how to do it? Thanks. :)

Default button is G?. Hold in hand, raise up. Toss. Only 1 handed items may be thrown. No weapons I believe, but not sure.

Yes throwing is implemented

 

I've only tried it once. Everything I 'threw' went 1 meter and fell straight to the ground or floated in mid air

Stones are a 2handed item. Anything that requires only one hand can be thrown at the moment. Also, the longer you hold the throwing button the farther the item will go. The lag you will see during the animation is caused by the server itself you are playing on. This was addressed already on the last EXP. Build.

G wont work unless you set it under assignments,as far as I know

Yeah, I had to manually set the key for throwing. It's pointless right now, mind - throwing stuff doesn't actually have any purpose... and rotten tomatoes can clip through walls.
