NW Airfield in 15 Min? Possible Hacking?

Hey, I was playing with a friend the other night on NW Airfield and we had a chopper and a car which was in progress of being repaired. Three bandits came in and started killing my mates (who weren't paying much attention) me and friend luckily got away but our chopper was left alone. We managed to get to a building which had overlook on the chopper spot, and my friend shot a man who was in the chopper m240 seat and I saw "Player killed" on the side. However it wasn't even 15 min later and that same person was back at the airfield.

I'm just trying to figure out if he was hacking or not, as they definitely did not take the chopper or the car, because we were very close to them the whole time.

The player in question was nadr0. He was rolling with Mike and some other guy.

I got pretty quick at making the coast->NWAF run but it still takes me about 25 minutes presuming I don't get lost. :/

Its possible he spawned at Novy Sobor, that happens now and then.

I asked him in chat how he got back so quick and he said "hacking", I think he was trying to cover his tracks with a hacking joke.

If your body wasn't saved as dead you can sometimes quit the server and hop back in and you'll be at the same place with all your loot and in whatever your previous saved character state was.

You can disconnect out of the game to the lobby without disconnecting from the server. So it's entirely possible he just tried to respawn as usual "Abort, disconnect, OK, voila back ingame" and ended up at a previous save and still alive.

no, its a database-save issue. Its happened to me too. Nothing you can do about it.
