clearly they do not have pull-ring tins in Russia

Ah the can opener, the only item I'll never let out of my inventory even for a moment :)

Haha, perhaps it's a case of gameplay (the desperate hunt for a tool to open your tin of food!) but I always have felt that if you needed to get into a tin of food you could manage it even if you had to resort to bashing it against the ground or on a rock.

I'd rather like the idea of a "force open" option that is more time consuming and results in 50% or less food remaining when you open the can.

I mean, if you're starving it doesn't matter if you lose most of it in your desperate efforts—some food is better than none!

:D

but also the item I put FIRST into my shirt as it doesn't matter if it is ruined or not.

Yeah but i mean there are PLENTY of can designs that still dont use the pull ring idea here in America though ether. Like Cambells just recently started adding them to there soups within the last couple of years. But there are still plenty of store bought items you have to open with a can opener regardless wherever you go.

Fuck that,

you can open cans with your own hands,

Actually they should probably put this in the game. It wouldn't be as quick to get the can open as say a sharper object or can opener but its better than starving to death. It should take up to a 2 minutes to open it up. That way if you want to do it that way it should be doable. And it wouldnt be overpowered because opening it up the other ways would be faster but messier.

Actually I find this to be less reliable, but just as effective as the can opener, you see, when the can starts breaking at the beggining it makes a pretty good hole where to drink the liquid part of the thing from without having half the can's content drop, then you just split it in two and eat the solid aliment itself.

This would work pretty good with both stuff that has quite a lot of liquid inside the can to drink (like Canned Peaches) and even better for dry food, as the man shows in the video, it doesn't drop anything if you do it properly.

Also, how come there is so much stuff in "Russian" based Chernarus to eat, EVEN AMERICAN CANNED BACON, but no grechka?

Just to think of how good it tasted when I was back in my country makes me freaking hungry, it's a very typical, healthy food in Russia/Ukraine.

Even the can that guy is opening is filled with grechka+soup.

DAMN I'M HUNGRY

It looks a lot like a man eating dogfood while pointlessly wearing a high-vis vest on a boat in the middle of a flooded town.

Crazy Russians.
