Really not sure how to explain this

I just reinstalled ArmA 2 and I get this.

When you reinstalled, are you sure you downloaded the updates and brought it to the current version ?

You use DayZ Commander? That can be helpful sometimes.

I updated ArmA 2 using DayZ commander. And i installed it straight from the disk

Well, it can't find a font "zepplin32" and that's why your choice buttons have no text in them. Couldn't say more without being there and messing. If you googling try "Arma 2 missing font"  ??

Mhhh, i tried googling that but didnt really find anything of use. Im more confused as to why the gui looks like that, and why it doesn't let me connect to the server

I was posting here as a last resort, thats what this forum is made for. I posted here for answers, not for someone to tell me "Go google it"

Those threads actually have the tendency to pop up at the very top of any google-search and provide no information about how to fix the problem at all. And how did I find that in the first place? By searching myself. If you have information about the fix of a problem, feel free to share it.

I personally hate people wanting to be spoon-fed answers they could easily find for themselves.  Perhaps you or Mr Entitlement could now make one final effort and prefix this thread [solved] and help the Google provide the answer for the next person who has that problem?

The zepplin32 font is definitely included in Arma2 (I checked the list), it's not found, that IS why you have no text on your options screen.

it was quite simple really and something im a bit annoyed at myself for overlooking, i know a few people who have had the same problem and it wasnt down to mods.
make sure arma 2 is updated to the latest version.
i never played arma 2 online on its own, only arrowhead.
and because they were different versions it wasnt compatable and couldnt run as combined ops.

so put quite simply, download the latest update for arma 2 and make sure everything is up to date and patched and it will fix it.

because it is easy to overlook that arma 2 needs updating as well as arrowhead even if you dont run arma 2

I updated them all and still it doesnt work. I might as well just re-buy the game on steam.
